Contrary to what it seems, the least effective marketing activity (and deadly for the seller) is competing on price.
That is why I have prepared key information on how to prepare auctions on Allegro to compete for customers with quality. For the customer, it is not important in such a situation that he will buy a few or a dozen zlotys cheaper somewhere, if he is not sure of the quality of delivery or after-sales service. The customer wants to be sure that he can count on the seller in case of problems or doubts.
This attitude is also promoted by Allegro. That is why at the top of the listing we will not find only the "cheapest" products, but those where they are substantively refined and the customer service is professional.
I looked through dozens of well-prepared auctions and I made a short description of the latest standards for creating product descriptions on Allegro.
Appearance on Allegro
- banner at the top
- Full width title below
- short description across the width or next to the photo
- we underline (bold) important words
- we use emoticons for scoring (e.g. green "birds"). They can be copied, e.g. from the website: https://getemoji.com
- we use emoticons with keywords (e.g. why you will love our product and use a heart)
- we avoid extensive text. Enter after 3 sentences.
- as there is a text-photo block, the text next to the photo must be short, concise and not go beyond the frame of the photo
- the product should "come out" from the thumbnail
- it is best that the product on the thumbnail shows different uses
The key is to succinctly show the benefits and at the same time:
- Use emoticons
- We crop the photos so that they show the product well
- We add arrows and graphics to photos
